Sinope is one of the outermost moons of Jupiter and location of Sinope Base of the Neosapien Commonwealth.
Geography[]
Sinope was named after the Naiad-nymph of the spring of the Greek colony of Sinope. Sinope's orbit to Jupiter is retrograde and elliptical, which support the idea that it was a captured asteroid.
History[]
Sinope was the location of the Fusion Pulse Cannon on Sinope Base, a super weapon designed to destroy the Exofleet base on Io. The cannon was destroyed by an ExoFleet and Pirate Clan E-frame assault unit. The destruction of the weapon not only destroyed the base but all the moon itself, sending out a massive meteor shower of debris.
